House Rules

When booking the property, the renter is required to sign a short-term rental agreement prior to booking being finalized. Refer to the rental agreement for a complete list of terms. Some of the included rules and terms are as follows: 1. Check-in Time: After 4:00 PM CST. 2. Check-out Time: No later than 10:00 AM CST. If you fail to check out by this time on your last scheduled day at the Premises, you may be liable for the cost of an extra night. 3. Security Deposit: Guests will provide the deposit as laid out by booking platforms for potential damages. When booking direct, the security deposit of $500 will be collected at the time of booking via paypal, zelle, or Venmo. The deposit will be returned within 7 days less any amount deducted to cover damages. If the damages exceed the deposit amount, you may be liable for any shortage. 4. Cancellation Policy: The cancellation policy will be enforced per the policy of the booking platform. 5. Maintenance Problems: During your stay, promptly report any maintenance problems through the booking platform. Maintenance may enter the premises to make repairs. If you report any unnecessary maintenance, you could be billed $25.00 per occurrence. 6. Occupancy: If more people of any age at any point in time are brought to the Premises that were not included in the original reservation, you will be asked to leave the Premises without a refund, or we will enforce a $100.00 per person per night fee for each additional guest. Our maximum occupancy is 12 guests. Please make sure you enter the correct number of guests at the time you make your reservation. If you decide after your reservation that you need to add more guests and it is still within our 12-guest limit, please message us, and we will be happy to accommodate. 7. Age Restriction: The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age and have a government-issued photo ID on file with the booking platform. You cannot book if you will not be staying the entire booking period. Guests under the minimum age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No exceptions. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of any payment, reservation fee, or final payment, and check-in will not be permitted, or eviction of a guest who has already checked in may occur. If you are under 25 years old and have 5-star reviews as a guest, please reach out, and we are happy to discuss potential options. 8. Front Porch Camera: There is an outdoor security camera mounted on the front porch that is facing the driveway. This is the only camera located on the Premises and is used for security purposes only. 9. Power, Mechanical Failures & Closures: During your stay, if there is a failure of an item at the Premises, such as mechanical failures or service provider failures, we will make every effort to fix said item, but we are under no legal requirement to do so. We are not responsible for service outages caused by private vendors, such as the electricity provider, water and garbage provider, internet provider, cable provider, etc. 10. Smoking Policy: No smoking or vaping. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the house at any time. The balconies and porches are also non-smoking areas. 11. Septic System: The house runs on a septic tank system. Please ONLY flush toilet paper down the toilets. Please use the trash cans for baby wipes, feminine products, tissues, napkins, cotton balls, Q-Tips, etc. Please don't put food or grease in the kitchen sink or disposal. Please follow posted signs in reference to the septic system. 12. Disturbances: Occupancy and use of the Premises shall not disturb or offend neighbors and nearby residents. Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. If guests are found to be having a party that is or could be disruptive to neighbors, we have the right to terminate the rental agreement and ask disruptive guests to leave the Premises. No refund will be given. 13. Pet Requirements & Rules: You are allowed to bring up to 2 dogs that each weigh 35 pounds or less. The pet fee is $150.00 per trip. The dogs must be under guest supervision and are never to be left at the Premises unattended except if they are in a crate. Dogs are not allowed on any furniture or bed at the Premises. If our cleaning team is required to conduct a deep clean due to dog hair on the furniture, beds, or linens, we will charge an additional $200.00 for this deep clean. Dogs may only relieve themselves in the yard, not on any driveway or porch area. You are required to pick up your dog's excrement from the yard. If our cleaning team has to pick up dog excrement from the yard, an extra $50.00 will be charged to the guest. You will be asked to leave the Premises if your dog(s) is out of control or if your dog(s) is not housebroken. Any damages caused by dog(s) will be repaired by one of our contractors and will be billed directly to you. You accept all liability and damages for dogs brought onto the Premises. If you attempt to bring in a dog that exceeds the limit and weight requirement, you will be charged an additional $200.00 and asked to leave the Premises. 14. Hurricane/Major Weather Event: If the National Weather Service or local government, county, state officials issue a mandatory evacuation and your rental is within the time and geographic limitations of such evacuation order, a refund for the nights not stayed shall be given. No refunds for other weather events will be given otherwise. We recommend you purchase travel insurance to account for such nonrefundable events.

Shore Thing Oasis is located in the sought after Holiday Beach sub-division located at Barrel # 90 on the beach. The house is located a short 5 minute walk to the sand or a 2 minute drive/golf cart ride.

Guest Access

The property is equipped with digital access keypads. Guest will be given the code to access the property 48 hours prior to arrival. Guest will have access to entire property except the two locked owner's closets, the locked attic access space, and any mechanical or attic access areas.

Loved our stay at the Shore Thing Oasis!! Took a bunch of 15 and 16-year-old boys with us that had a free weekend between basketball tournaments and had a great stay! Boys loved the bunk rooms and hanging out together downstairs. The house was perfect for our group.

Trent was extremely helpful and responsive. Beautiful house full of amenities, just as pictured. Plenty of space to lounge, sleep, and relax. Very clean and well stocked with quality items, linens, furniture, etc. felt very high end for a very reasonable price!

Find us

The neighborhood and beach easily walkable but one of the most popular thing about Crystal Beach is that you can drive on the beach. Due to this, golf carts are the favored mode of transportation and you can access almost everything Crystal Beach has to offer by golf cart. Be sure to check out one of the many golf cart rental locations for your stay to get the true Crystal Beach experience.
